Good to know
Start from what you want painted. Most jobs map to one service, and bigger ones combine two or three in the same visit.
| What you want done | Start here |
|---|---|
| A few rooms, or the whole inside of a house | Interior painting |
| A condo or apartment, including elevator bookings | Condo painting |
| Kitchen cabinets, sprayed | Kitchen cabinet painting |
| Baseboards, casings, crown or interior doors | Trim and door painting |
| Railings, spindles and stairs, such as oak going black | Staircase and railing painting |
| Holes, cracks and nail pops before paint | Drywall repair |
| A textured ceiling taken back to flat | Popcorn ceiling removal |
| The outside of a house: wood, trim, soffit and doors | Exterior painting |
| Faded or chalky aluminum or vinyl siding | Aluminum and vinyl siding painting |
| A stucco exterior | Stucco painting |
| A brick exterior, painted or stained | Brick painting and staining |
| An office, a rental between tenants or condo corridors | Commercial painting |
| Help choosing colours | Colour consultation |
Yes, and it usually makes sense to. Walls, trim and a few drywall repairs are one visit, not three. So are a bungalow's siding, soffits and doors.
Combining also makes the most of the minimum job, which is $750 + HST for one crew-day. A single small job is billed at no less than that, so a second job in the same visit is often good value.
The estimator takes several jobs at once and adds them into one range. Why painters have a minimum charge lists the small jobs that pair well.
Look at its page. Work that can be priced from its size has a published range: rooms, condos, cabinets, trim and most exteriors. Work that has to be seen first is quoted once we've seen it, from your photos or on site: staircases, popcorn ceilings, stucco and commercial spaces.
Either way, the price you are given in writing is before HST, with every mandatory fee included. The cost guides work through real examples from the published rows.

Your quote names the paint for each surface by brand and product line, so you know exactly what goes on before you book. Two coats of it go on every painted surface.
Yes. A 30-minute colour consultation with a crew lead is free on painting projects over $2,500. You leave with Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams colour codes for the rooms or walls you are painting.
Yes: offices, rental turnovers and condo corridors across the GTA. Commercial work is quoted in writing from photos or plans, with a site walk when the job needs one.
Yes. Every popcorn ceiling removal starts with an asbestos test, before any work begins. Each room is then quoted after we see the ceiling.
No. Cedar deck and fence staining is a wood-care trade, so we leave it to specialists. We paint homes, condos and businesses, inside and out.
