In short: the site does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. It stores a few small items that make the site work, and they stay on your device.
What the site stores today
Everything in this table is kept in your browser's session storage. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to us, and it is cleared when you close the tab.

Services that may store something themselves
Two services run on the site and are provided by other companies.

If you work for us
Our staff sign in to our office system on this site. Signing in sets one cookie, which keeps that person signed in for up to 30 days, or until they sign out. Visitors never get it.
What the site does not use
The site does not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels or cross-site tracking. We do not sell information about your visit.
Analytics we may add later
We have not switched on any analytics that use cookies. We may add Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity later, to understand which pages are useful.
If we do, we will ask for your consent first, through a banner that lets you say yes or no. We will update this policy before either tool is switched on.
How to control storage
You can clear or block browser storage in your browser's settings. Look for "site data" or "cookies and site data".
If you block storage, the site still works. The estimator will not remember your answers if you reload the page, and the thank-you page will not show your reference number. We email you a copy either way.
